My wife and I made the decision to become Foster Parents in the Centre County area. After much prayer and conversation, we just jumped in! And we are SO glad that we did. In so doing, we met many incredible people: other foster parents; the incredible staff team of CYS and FICS, and most importantly, the children who are placed into care and were then placed with us. There is nothing like discovering all over again that simple things like family, safety, care, love, play are such difference makers in the life of a child. We can't say this any stronger than this: If you are looking to make a lasting difference in our world for good, look no further than becoming a Foster Parent.
